Hello from Ah Lye

Hi everyone from Ave Maria. Not sure whether you guys still remember me...


Well, I was from S5, sitting on the last seat of the row (even though I wasn't the tallest one). Always hang around with Cheng Koon Wai and Lau Poh Eng, you guys usually call me Ah Lye.




I wasn't active in any sports or whatever clubs (didnt even participate), but i guess some of you might find us pretty annoying coz we hardly pay attention to the teachers, share our answers during exams, and of course always eating during class hours. With these descriptions, not difficult to remember, right!?




yeap, I am now residing in Melbourne, almost approaching my 10 year mark. Give you a brief history lah. I went over to Melbourne to study after Form 5, after studying for 6 years, came back to Penang and worked for 4.5 years. Then decided to return to Melbourne in 1999. Since then life just go on pretty okay....



I usually go back to Ipoh during CNY. My parents are still in Ipoh, still catching up with Cheng Koon Wai, Looe Siew Toh, Mimi Lam and Lau Poh Eng.


Thanks to Khoon Sim for creating the blog and Siew Yoke who updates the contact lists. All these, plus the re-union pictures give me back so much sweet memories..those were the best days.

Lovely to see so many of you in the photo. All are still "liang liang":-)

I've been living here since 2001,daughter x 1, nearly 6.

Life here is slow & quiet but I 've used to it and actually quite enjoying it. No rush.
